We slept in a bit today since the night wasn’t quite as peaceful has previous ones had been. Not bad, per se, but just having to get up a lot more.
Emily must have had some really bad gas today. While I was feeding Abby, she was asleep and out of the blue, she screamed(!) a cry much like an “I’m in pain!” type of cry. Very weird. I picked her up (all the while Abby is still nursing) and Emily calmed down.
She was kind of fussy for Ron while Joseph and I were at TaeKwonDo, too. Lots of toots later and she seems to be feeling better.
Abby, on the other hand, is a hungry, hungry, hippo. 🙂
I took yet another nap (no picture this time). It wasn’t long (about an hour) and in the middle, Emily joined me for some food and sleep. This is literally only the 2nd nap I’ve taken in the entire 5 weeks they’ve been alive. Is that good or bad? Don’t really know. 😉
At TKD, Joseph was practicing his staff and went to do the roll. Apparently though, he’s forgotten the exact move and basically landed on his head. It threw him for a loop and I believe pulled some of his chest muscles because of the awkward landing that he had. So, now, he is sore. No broken ones or anything, just sore.
Joseph, Abby, Emily and I also went for a very nice walk tonight. We went all the way down to the “first” neighborhood entrance and back. No toads/frogs to count this time though. But, for a mid-July evening, it was gorgeous! No humidity and only about 75 degrees. What a wonderful time for a walk! The girls benefit too since they get some fresh air.
