Joseph’s logic…

For a long time, Joseph told Ron and I how he wanted to get a graphite staff for Taekwondo. We told him he’d have to work for it and over the course of months he went back and forth on how much he liked Taekwondo.

At one point, he wanted a re-breakable board (green to replace his orage one. Green, by the way is harder to break) and they cost about the same. So, I gave him the opportunity to ask for one or the other, but not both. He again chose the staff. I’d explained to him the cost and making sure he would still go to taekwondo, etc. so he understood.

Now, here is were a kids logic plays perfectly.

In Taekwondo tonight, Joseph said “Mom, since Santa got me the staff, you can get me the board.” I said, “No, you got a staff. It was a one or the other deal.” And Joseph said…

“But, you didn’t pay for the staff, so now you have the money, so you can buy me the board.”

Makes perfect sense to him!

How do you answer that????? 🙂
