I’d gotten the girls down pretty late and they immediately woke up when I moved them. Go figure. So, I decided I’d put them in the crib anyway and see if they’d go to sleep. Ah, no doing.
They got mad and started screaming/crying as usual. Since I still had tons to do to get ready for departure the next morning, I put them on the same side (usually they are on opposite sides) and left them to hang out together.
