I don’t know what happened tonight, but the girls absolutely refused to go to sleep. I got them down at 9:30 and by 10pm they were up and wide awake (no thanks to Daddy who likes to say ‘hi’ when he sees they are awake, even if they might happen to fall back to sleep on their own if they aren’t messed with!).
Because I had stuff to do and Joseph and I had finished putting up the outside Christmas lights, we decided to take them out and see it (and because it was something like 70 degrees outside at 10pm!).
Getting them back in the house and back to sleep proved almost a nightmare. I was starting to think maybe Abby had a tummy ache, but I think she was just seriously over tired.
They finally fell back to sleep about midnight. So, I guess technically, Emily was still a midnight girl, just that she fell asleep right afterward, not woke up right at it. 😉
