So, in 2008, I have officially completed three training classes. 🙂 This was the smallest class by far — only 15 people, where in Indiana there were 24+ and in my studio about 21+. It was great though. We had a donated room at Presbyterian Matthews Hospital in Matthews, NC. Everything worked perfectly — the projector they donated for us to use, the screen, getting lunch, etc.
The only problem I had was in the drive down, there is a sign for Charlotte at Hwy 49 but my Google directions said to go to I-85, but I didn’t know how far it was still. It was the weirdest feeling – to not know even though my Google directions said it would come up.
So, a phone call to Ron, a few more miles and tada! There was I-85. Figures. 🙂
So other than feeling like I was truly in the middle of NOWHERE on Hwy 64W, it was a great (albeit looooong) day!
