I spent almost my entire Saturday at Expressions Photography in Littleton. Expressions is a 23 employee studio, owned and run by Sandy Puc’. The outside is nothing to smile about — but the inside is both phenomenal and crazy. 🙂
This is one of her hallways — filled with gorgeous photos.
Another hallway — ending with the staff offices and three sales rooms … yes THREE! I have, like, a half. 😆
This is her ROOM (ok, big closet) of clothes. She has black shirts, tutus, antique looking dresses, tuxes — of all sizes. Just about everything! She’s been gathering over time (obviously) and has everything as options for her customers.
Sandy has three studios too … one dedicated to studios and two others. Each has two sides that can be used with multiple backdrop options. Each of her studios is approximately the size of the one I have. Go figure.
The only “problem” is that there is stuff … everywhere! She has more props, more set stuff and more supporting “things” than anyone I’ve ever met! In her book (which I bought and had signed!) she talks about her studio and the perception and feel she’s created … but that her studios are her working environments.
In any case, meeting with her wasn’t the only point of the conference — NILMDTS was. So, we spent the day (not the breaks — that’s when I went looking around) going through training stuff and watching Sam record a training video that other NILMDTS people will be able to watch. Of course now I’m also “certified” to train for NILMDTS — which was the real point of the weekend. 🙂
