Joseph was the grim reaper this year. I spent over $50 on the costume and as Ron and I were disussing, we NEVER spent that kind of money on costumes! Actually, we never BOUGHT costumes, always made ours up with “stuff” around the house or bits and pieces of stuff acquired in various places.
The girls were “free” this year because they wanted to be their kitty cats from last year! That’s probably a world record — two Halloween costumes used twice! 😉
Getting ready — behind the “gauze”
His eyes lit up at random intervals. 🙂 This was how!
Can you even tell it’s Joseph?
The grim reaper forgot to put his bike up BEFORE he got dressed. Maybe he’s forgetting what defines BEFORE and AFTER — like the girls. So, he had to put it away while dressed.
Joseph’s wolf pumpkin all lit up!
Emi took a nap earlier in the day, so she was WIDE awake and raring to go.
Abby, on the other hand, had JUST been awoken and wasn’t really ready to go. I ended up wearing her kitty cat ears. 😉
The girls, Ron and I walked all around our street and got candy until Emi decided her bag was “full” and we went home. Joseph came home and dropped his “10 pound” bag on the table with a HUGE THUD! I’m sure it wasn’t 10 pounds, but it certainly seemed like it.
Unfortunately, he also came home WITHOUT his mask. 🙁 He took it off since it was too hot and dropped it somewhere. 🙁
We didn’t give away much of our candy — again — and as usual, but we did some… and then loaded up with more. 😉
