everyone!
The girls truly enjoy spending time with family. Joseph does too because he gets more attention too. 🙂
We started our day with a walk to Kate’s Pancake House … amidst the threat of rain. And, about 100 yards from the restaurant, it came pouring down and we all got wet … except for Shawn. He was out for a run and by the time he got 1/2 to Kate’s, the rain had stopped. 🙂
After our big breakfast, we walked back through the mostly-closed-up Boardwalk area of Carolina Beach. It’s just not the busy season now. 🙂 We also stopped to by JoJo some new swimming trunks.
Emi got a ride on Uncle Shawn’s shoulders!
On our walk back, we stopped at the Mermaid Manor … this bright blue and pink place. The owner popped his head outside and welcomed us, even though, as my sister acknowledged … we were just loitering.
There were a BUNCH of gorgeous beach houses.
Emi was told to stop dragging her feet while pushing th stroller. This was her response.
And after breakfast, we hit the pool!
