Talk about a small world! My mini-mes and I went to the grocery store tonight. Instead of our usual — “get in a car cart and ride around while mommy shops” they BOTH opted for the mini “Customer in Training” carts. So, needless to say, my trip didn’t include everything I might normally get AND took a lot longer than usual. Oh well. 🙂
So the girls pushed their carts all around Harris Teeter while we got stuff for dinner, some lunches and stuff for Saturday’s dinner. As we were rolling around, a set of twin girls (clearly girls despite the lack of hair) rolled by us. I commented to the Dad who was pushing them that “this is what you have to look forward to”. The girls were about 18 months old.
Strangely though, I could have SWORN I knew the guy, but surely not. We passed each other and chatted a few more times, he and his wife switched roles a couple times (Pushing the cart that is). And in line (they were behind us) we figured it out!
He asked me my name and said “You look so familiar” to which I responded the name and we both knew instantly! Jason Chester, graduate of North Forsyth High School, class of 1992! MY class! We went to high school together! And now he and his wife and identical twin daughters live in Apex!
Small world!!
