The Apex Chamber of Commerce hosted a women’s luncheon at this awesome shop on Hwy 751. It’s called Sunflowers Art in the Barn. I’ve passed it 100 times at least and just thought it was someone’s house. Turns out it is that and MUCH MUCH more. The owner was our hostess and she was amazing. Her house is amazing. Her shop is amazing.
The networking was amazing … I met Gine of RL Williams design – an interior design firm opening in Apex *soon*, someone from a local ENT office — whom I will be calling for an appointment thanks to my worsening voice. 🙁 I met a woman starting her own virtual assistant business. I met bankers, Mary Kay consultants, Lois Cozart, the owner of My Girlfriend’s Closet, attorneys, owner of a hair salon in Cary, an educational coach (thinking about Joseph there) and owners of a Nationwide Insurance branch in Apex so I can finally get business insurance … maybe. 😆
It really was a great event and I was so excited to both be invited and for the networking. Every littlle bit helps!!
