This is Abby’s new thing. Emi is a big copycat which makes it hilarious. She’s not mad. She’s not actually using mine in a way to indicate something is hers and hers alone. She does it as a joke.
It started one night as I was putting them to bed. Abby took her blanket from Emily and said “noooooooooooooooooo … mine” with a big grin and a few giggles. So I responded. “noooooooooooooooo mine!” also with a big grin and some laughter and tried to take it away. 😉 She then started repeating “noooooooooooooooooo miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine” all while giggling. Then Emi started, without reference to anything and we went back and forth and back and forth with “noooooooooooooo miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiyyyyyyyyyyyyyne” for 5+ minutes. 😀
Now, they do it to laugh and boy do they laugh!
