Joseph announced that he participated in PE today. While in most families that would probably result in a “Why are you announcing that?”, in our family, that’s pretty darn amazing. He the proceeded to announce he ALSO participated in MUSIC. Specials are just not his thing. I don’t know why as he LOVES music and art (not so much PE) but he has it in his head that he’s going to mess up, so, no participating.
Anyway, his music teacher was obviously VERY pleased and wrote him a VERY nice note and delivered it to him at school … a couple days ago. He forgot to show it to me until tonight. But, when he did, I read it and said how nice *I* thought it was.
He said he has fun in both PE and Music. I said “you see the good things that happen when you participate? Like this note?” 😀 to which he responded
“Yeah, but I’m not going to do it again”
