So Sean calls me today, between my Bat Mitzvah party and my 60th wedding anniversary shoot. Sean apologizes and says he left “explicit” directions and notes to his Apple counterparts to fix and test the machine.
What????
He told me, when I was in the store, that HE … *HE* … would fix it, on WEDNESDAY and leave notes for TESTING ONLY for Thursday and Friday. So, the first of these problems starts RIGHT THERE.
He then proceeds to offer to fix it tonight and have it back to me by noon on Sunday. Uh … hello! Dude?!?! Earth to Apple!! I don’t have time to leave it, even for just an overnight right now. I have FOUR … yes, FOUR shoots to proof and present, ONE shoot to finalize for printing and 20 photos to “create” for a Pediatrician’s office for October 1st. I DON’T HAVE TIME TO LEAVE IT!
I remind him that I made time, took time, had everything set and all that has happened is that THEY have screwed up. Since April 17, 2006 when I bought this )@*&#^% machine, they have been HORRIBLE as far as being helpful.
So now, I have to find yet another time to bring my Mac into Apple. When? I haven’t a clue. I have shoots out the wazoo in the next month … and we’re hitting the “busy” season now, so finding time is going to be nearly impossible. Sheesh!
