It’s hair and makeup time! My appointment was at 2:30 and Steph’s was at 3:00. My appointment was with Chris — a pink haired, tatoo’d, short, petite lady. Steph’s was with Jay — a spikey haired, quite built guy. 🙂 Needless to say, they know hair!
Mine was awesome! I loved it! All pulled back nice and tight — no ringlets or falling curls or strands. Steph’s was billows of curls all the way down. Gorgeous!!
My makeup was done by Teri — a fantastic artist who had me quite pleased — given I RARELY wear much makeup! I think I was a bit pale, but that’s ok. She kept it SIMPLE which was my big worry. 🙂
Steph’s was done by a Russian woman with a BIG attitude. Let me tell ya, she was a _(#*&$^@ and didn’t really care who she pissed off to get her way. Once again, I chose to bite my tongue instead of stressing out my sister. Let me tell ya, Steph’s out of “Aimee bites her tongue” cards! Between the minister and this lady … sheesh!!
In any case, Steph was gorgeous, as any bride should be. About mid-way through our adventure, our Aunt Betti-Ann came in too. I swear, when the Yancey’s get together, every possible place is a hang out. While BA was getting her hair done, Don, Dad, John & Bob all showed up too! Watch out world! 😉
BA wanted something *fun* and got twists in her hair in the front. Very nicely done — by our pink-haired-tatoo’d friend.
So, $117 later, my pampering for the day was done and it was time for high heels and pretty dresses!
