Swimming! Swimming!

We headed upstairs to our room after the rehearsal dinner and wouldn’t you know, the crew (Yancey crew) was heading out to the pool. Apparently, it doesn’t close until 11pm. So, Joseph suited up and I was going to take him down. Emi started pitching the BIGGEST fit to go swimming, so *I* suited up, suited up the girls (in their inner tube bathing suits) and off we went to go swimming!

Joseph didn’t get in right away — spent 1/2 hour talking with Grandpa — getting used to the environment and waiting for people to depart — it was too busy at the time — too many people.

So, while Joseph sat on the side, the girls and I “jumped” in. It was cold! I don’t think I’ve ever been in such cold water in an indoor pool. In any case, we got in and the girls started swimming with Natalie and Megan. They swam in circles, down and up the pool length and jumped in each time someone pulled them out.

After about 45 minutes, with their teeth clattering constantly, we got out. Uncle Bob warmed up a towel in the sauna and we wrapped up the girls in two towels and I took them upstairs.

Joseph stayed in another 15 minutes and came upstairs with Grandma. They all had a ton of fun!!
