Yes… I mean ALL the Bickers grandkids. Sara, Daniel, Joseph, Emily & Abby. Sara and Daniel were staying over and Ron and I felt like going out. So, we dragged (yes dragged because they all wanted to stay in) them out to Perkins. What an adventure! First, we had to move the car seat so we could actually accomodate 7 people. 🙂
At Perkins, we sat around a big round table and after ordering, this guy that makes balloon animals came by. Perfect, of course. He worked on 5 balloon “things” for us to kill time while dinner was cooking. Sara got a very cool looking black horse. E&A each got monkeys… of course. Abby’s was a monkey holding on to a banana. Emi’s was a monkey holding onto a palm tree. Both were very well done! Joseph & Daniel each got bows and arrows.
Dinner came and the waiter brought E&A an adult plate of french toast… uh… I said one plate to share and he thought that meant they would need an adult size. Um… no… kid meal. Got that fixed. Then, the cook forgot to put chicken in Joseph’s Quesadilla. And Daniel’s fries didn’t looked cooked. All in all it was fine.
E&A decided to play their “hands up” game and Sara caught on quickly. 😉 And joined in too. 🙂
Ended up having to run through the rain to get back into the van, but we made it, without getting too wet.
