She’s really not much better. She did manage to want and to eat a waffle this morning, along with a few sips of milk. Then, at the picnic, which she and Emily both attended, but Abby stayed in the stroller most of the time, she drank a bunch of juice. The juice came back up not long afterward. 🙁 She wanted to eat lunch, but unfortunately, it hit her at the time lunch was being served, so no lunch. She did nibble on some bread and had two bites of baked beans.
She perked up a bit when the magician was out and doing his show. She watched the entire thing. Got home and had some cheerios and cocoa puffs and a bit of water and Gerber liquilytes… but just a little. She’s now been asleep for over an hour… which is good. She needs it. Maybe tomorrow it will get better? ? ? ? ? 🙁
All I can say is that this has exhausted me. She hates throwing up and having no energy. You can just see that she wants to go play, but instead lays her head on my shoulder. Poor baby. I so want this to end for her! According to some of my friends, their kids took 10 days to get over it (Abby is on day 15 right now according to *my* calculations) and many kids did end up in the hospital. So far, she’s not that dehydrated… just so tired. Oh to be well!! Be grateful for healthy kids that avoid this!
