At least for 1/2 the day! That’s how it will be for the next week and a half. Then, I’m back full-time.
Daddy did well with the girls, except for miss-priss (aka Abby) who still wont take a bottle well. Emily, on the other hand, is doing very well with bottles and is basically a little piggie. I’m sure with a little more daily practice, Abby will get the hang of it. She’ll have to! 🙂
This was the first day in 8 weeks that I’ve had to get up before 10am. Ahh! The 6:30am alarm was just plain yucky! But, I managed. Girls slept relatively well, so I think I got about 6 hours, with only 2 breaks in between.
Actually, Abby ended up in bed with us and at 3:30am, when Emily woke up, I “found” Abby there (nearly forgot she was!). That meant Emily slept for 5.5 hours! Woohoo!
I took Joseph to school for his first day, too (on the way to work) so we’ll have to see what that was like soon. As for work, things have definately changed. I’m on new projects and old customers. People have left, are leaving and/or have gotten new positions. 8 weeks is long and short at the same time and when you are out of the loop, things seem to change even faster.
I get to hang out with my girls this afternoon, then back to the 1/2 day schedule again tomorrow. And thus goes the day of a working Mom!
