I’ve always wanted to see them in-person… ever since that very first Scooby-Doo episode. 🙂 Well, they were in town tonight and we decided to … yes, ALL of us! The girls were AMAZINGLY good. The “show” was about 2 hours with a 10 minute break about 1.5 hours into it. The girls sat on our laps, walked in front of us (between rows), flirted with the girl to Joseph’s right and the two boys immediately in front of us and were VERY into the basketball!
Emi, at one point, was yelling “Go! Go! Go! Go! Go! Basketball!” and getting very excited! Abby jumped into the fun too a bit, but without Emi’s animation. It was quite funny!
Joseph had his “I’m not getting to play with my friends so you are horrible parents taking me to this thing I don’t want to go to” and ended the evening shooting baskets in the dark with his new Harlem Globetrotters basketball and reading the show flyer we bought which “teaches” some of the cool tricks. 🙂 I knew that would happen… he just is so worried about the “unknown.” And, yes, he did know who the Harlem Globetrotters were beforehand…. as he too watches Scooby-Doo.
All in all it was a GREAT day!
