Day two of US Airways saga

My bag got shipped back to Raleigh… I did get it, when I got back to RDU. At least that was good. And, the Huntsville Station Manager authorized compensation in the amount of $25! Uh… ok… I had to spend $180 to be properly dressed.

I also got the address to the baggage handling dept… who’s fault this IS NOT… and I’m going to send a letter to US Airways in RDU, Huntsville, the Customer relations center in Winston-Salem and the baggage people in Pittsuburgh. Anyone want to take bets they ignore me 100%?

So let’s see… what else about my adventure in Alabama? I shot a hand gun in a simulation environment (whoopee!) and spent 3 hours listening to technical discussions that were so far over my head it wasn’t even funny.

Then, for lunch, we ate at the Bayou Grille… not bad food wise… but we noted on the way OUT that the sanitation rating was an 82! Ahhh!

Now, if you have a quesy stomach stop reading this post. On the plane used for the leg from Charlotte to Raleigh… someone had gotten sick (in the row behind mine) in the previous flight and all US Airways did was throw some granules on it. Do you think that masks the smell? Noooooooooooooooo! And do you think US Airways cared? NOT ONE BIT!

Ugh!
