US Airways won’t be getting my business…

Business trip day… to glorious and sunny Huntsville, Alabama… home of the… well… I don’t have a clue! For all I could tell I was in the middle of nowhere.

So, for my 24 hour trip to and from… here is the first day’s adventure…

1) US Air forced me to check my appropriately-sized, carry-on, roller bag because the flight attendants thought there wasn’t room for the 4 bags left to be carried on (I was third to last to get on the plane).

2) Then, the stupid flight attendant who ASKED her coworker for the code to Huntsville (HSV) but said HTS and her coworker said “Just write Huntsville.” STILL wrote HTS and sent my overnight bag to Huntington WEST VIRGINIA!

3) No one flys into Huntsville — despite it being an “International airport” after 6pm on weekdays, so no bags, no clothes, no NOTHIN’ for me.

4) I had to go buy an entire set of business attire and sleepwear and toiletries because of it! $180!! Ahhh! And I got EVERYTHING at 50-75% off. Ugh!

5) Our rental car was making a funny noise on the way to the mall… so while I shopped for 30 minutes, the guys drove around in circles and saw that the front right wheel was leaning inward and probably about to fall off.

6) Hertz didn’t have anymore cars. 🙂 This is turning into a lovely trip! Luckily, they were cleaning one and we had to wait to get IT… the one and only at that moment.

We finally arrived at our destination at 8:45, feeling like it was 9:45 because Huntsville is in CST, not EST. Dinner was super lovely though… and that’s for real. It was delicious!!! MMmmmmmmmmm!

And made it to our hotel about 11pm ish… because I still had to hit Wal-Mart for makeup and such. Ugh!!
