I got my car “fixed” a couple months ago. NO ONE except ME could reproduce the problem.
The problem returned.
Again, NO ONE BUT ME could reproduce the problem and I was getting “stuck” regularly — meaning it was dropping down to using only two cylinders and I had NO power. To me it was relatively dangerous because I couldn’t pull out in front of ANYONE without the worry of it losing all it’s power.
After two weeks of it being in the garage — I was essentially forcing Ron to use it to reproduce the problem — and he FINALLY did, we finally took it back to our mechanic.
Another “fix”, more money and 1 week later and I got my car last night. It ran great until this morning (a WHOLE 12 hours later) when the *@*$&^! check engine light came on AGAIN!
This is EXACTLY what happened before! I am just waiting for the problem to recur. I cannot STAND driving a car that isn’t reliable. I bought this car brand new and until now it hasn’t given me one single problem. It’s 200 miles from 100,000 miles and should last for 200,000. It’s in great shape, but it is regularly causing me grief and I refuse to drive our tank of a van the 8 miles to work and back and out and about. Ahhh! I hate this!!!! 🙁 🙁 🙁
