So, we filled them up with the best milk possible last night and waited. Within 1 hour, Abby was up and awake and hungry! Emily, on the other hand, was completely zonked! Yeah!
I ended up laying in bed with Abby and letting her nurse herself to sleep, which she did and she also ate a ton more. I think the pyloric stenosis surgery was a COMPLETE success. Perhaps they need to go back in and close it a bit! Ha ha, just kidding! But, Abby seems to be a bottomless pit these days!
I managed to get what I consider a LOT of sleep last night. Abby didn’t wake up again until 3:45 am and Emily, not until 4:15am. So, that was 4 straight hours of sleep! I feel so much more rested than the night before.
They both went back to bed in their crib and stayed until 6:30 when both woke up. But, this time, they nursed for 5 minutes and zonked out again! I put them back and they stayed until 7:30 (Abby) and 8:00 (Emily) and our real day has now started.
So, just because they are identical doesn’t mean they will do anything the same as is obvious through this past night’s sleeping patterns!
