The only change from first quarter was in work habits. He got a 2 this time (3 is meets expectations — he was “inconsistent” this quarter). He got a 3 in conduct though and that’s to be commended. His behavior has really changed since the beginning of the year and positively I should add.
He is still reading below grade level and has difficulty staying on task when writing. His teacher even noted that he only wants to write about Zelda. That surprises me because he hasn’t played the game in months!
He also got a report from his IEP program teacher and she marked him a ‘3’! Woohoo!! 3 is “consistent progress toward master of IEP annual goal this quarter; student on track to meet annual goal.” Same for writing.
As part of the packet going home the follow letter, written by Joseph, was included.
