Ok… this is one major kudos to the United States Postal Service… normal it’s only gripes.
Anyway… Joseph sent a letter to Santa… he’s been questioning a lot lately and decided to write (typed it!) a letter to Santa and to mail it — stamp and all to “Santa — North Pole”.
I helped him get it ready and put it in the mailbox. Ron asked if I was going to get it out and I said ‘no’, at least I knew the USPS would take it and it would “disappear”.
Anyway… come yesterday’s mail and guess what? Santa has replied!! Sure enough, he got a hand-addressed evelope from Santa’s elves at the USPS substation for the North Pole in Raleigh, NC
Joseph was “in awe” and at least I get *1* more Christmas of him believing. I so didn’t know the USPS would respond and I think it is downright awesome.
