Twice now this little stinker has awoken way too early. This morning, she woke up at 5:30am and stayed awake! I had her with me in bed so that she wouldn’t wake up Abby. The only reason I went and got her in the first place was because she was “singing” in her bed. “Ahhhhhh” pause “Ahhhhh” pause “Ahhhhhh” etc. Knowing Abby was asleep, I didn’t want to risk having two awake babies. That had already happened at 1:00 am.
So, I got her and thought I’d just nurse her to sleep and that would be that. Nope! She wanted to play, crawl around on the bed, crawl on Daddy, sit, stand, pull my hair and try to fall off the bed again. Apparently, I did fall asleep while she was with us, but Mommy’s intuition is an amazing thing and I basically “caught” her, out of my sleep right before she went over the edge.
By 7:00 am when my alarm was going off, she fell back to sleep. D’oh! Little stinker!
