I have communicated with this guy that wants the Treadmill for a few days. He wanted to get the Treadmill over the weekend, but of course I laughed (to myself) and said ‘no way’ because of the pending snow. He emailed me Saturday even and said he had planned to come on Sunday at 1:30. I laughed out loud but replied with a ‘sure c’mon, we’ll be here’
Sunday at 11am I got a note — not coming. I figured as much.
He asked if we were available during the week and I said ‘yes’. I suggested Monday or Tuesday — but better Tuesday for good roads.
Email on Monday said Tuesday at 6pm. I responded and said ‘great’. The roads are much clearer today so it’s much safer. Treadmill is ready, kids have been warned, etc.
Anyway … 6:20 rolls around and no guy …. call him … “oh, yeah, I forgot that my buddy that was going to drive me up can’t ‘cuz of the weather, so I’ll just call you when he can commit and if you still have it great.”
Riiiiiiiiight …. more like “I’m a slacker and decided I didn’t want to pay our agreed-to price so I have to come up with a sorry excuse and not email or call and actually tell you that.”
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Everytime I think we’re going to get ahead JUST a little … EVERY FREAKING TIME I am bit in the a$$. EVERY TIME.
