We had a blast. Our time together, boat rides, paddle boating, roasting marshmallows, grilling hotdogs, house on the bubbling creek — all of it was just amazing. As the girls said when we got home … can’t we just live there?
Here are a few pics, tons more in the November 2009 album. ๐
View from the back of the house. It flowed non-stop, loudly and wildly. Didn’t deter the wild turkey or deer though.

Prepping for the pedaling …. and pedaling … and pedaling. Captain Abby, then Captain Emi “helped” as best they could with their tiny feet.

After 30 minutes of pedaling back and forth to the dock, we opted to join the pontooners. Captain Joseph steered us out to the middle of the lake.

There are houses all up and down the lake side. This one is being built and it was by far the BIGGEST one we saw. Amazing. Truly amazing.

On Saturday afternoon, we went walking with our walking sticks.

Abby in particular liked to run ahead and hide behind a tree. Usually, this was the result, but sometimes, she found a big enough tree and the right angle to hide completely (which freaked me out). ๐

Joseph’s favorite activity was driving the golf cart which he did every day, multiple times a day. This was our last outing in which Ron and I joined him.
