In my former life (remember when I wasn’t a photographer/business owner?) I worked with all sorts of people. I was the Project Manager for Pfizer, through TRG — the contract company. We worked with additional outside contractors through Pfizer, but *I* managed them. Every once in a while I think … “It’s way to tough being my own boss.” and then, of course, I change my mind, but it’s so nice to know I have a “fall back” (as defined in the movie Night at the Museum).
Today, I received an email from a guy I worked with at TRG (four YEARS ago) and in it, there was this line …
“I am delighted that you have found a way to work on a project that you love, but I have to tell you that you were the most effective project manager I have ever worked with.”
How can that not make for a smiley moment? 🙂 Totally a good day. 🙂
