That means, four people get started and 15 people end up on the ride. 🙂 That’s the fun of my family and of being together on a farm!
The girls and I bundled up, but stayed in our jammies. Grandma added a bunch of blankets to our laps to help. Steph and Shawn joined and eventually Joe Joe did too!
We went all around the farm — to the windmill, to the big “hole” in the earth where they cut in to it for sand and then it has created a big hole! Their dog, Boo (yes the same name as our former cat!) actually went down the slope of the hole — to reach us. S/he slid once she got started and there was no turning back. It looked to be a three story drop, but on an incline, so she wasn’t any worse for wear.
Upon returning to the homestead (ha ha!) we realized that one of the tires was completely flat! And the front tire was not only flat, but shredded flat! Yikes!
So, off we jumped, straw and all and ran to warm up in the house. 🙂
