Despite the torrential rains these last couple days, we are heading to the BEACH! Woohoo! It’s a weekend at a beach house, on the ocean. We all had our requirements and we found them all — on the ocean, with wireless Internet and non-smoking. Yeah!
With lunch at Smithfields Chickn and BBQ and a “good” movie playing in the van and we were there! Right on time too! 😉
Our first order of business was to get food for snacks. We went into “downtown” Wrightsville to Robert’s Market. $6.39 for a gallon of milk! Yikes! Should’ve brought the cooler from home. Oops. Next time.
Eggs, wine, Coke, sandwich meat, bread, chips and pretzels, tums (of course) and then back to the beach house.
It is so amazingly wonderful to open the doors of a house, hear the ocean, smell the salty water and just relax.
