In our weed pulling frenzy, we found a praying mantis … or rather … I did. 🙂 I was pulling the weeds around one of my plants and in it I saw the mantis. I thought the girls would find him rather interesting, so I oh so very carefully plucked him out of his hiding spot and put him on my glove.
The girls thought he was SO COOL! They ran in to tell JoeJoe who came out with the camera and took a photo.
While we were waiting for him to get the camera I kept holding the bug and was watching him turn his head back and forth looking at the girls. He truly was a cool bug!
