This is the river I was referring to in my previous post. It runs through South Bend. The waterfall is right here where we were on the river walk area. It was cool and breezy and really nice!
As we sat outside and enjoyed the breeze, Joseph leaned over the side and found turtles — which then intrigued Grandma who then also had to lean over the side to see — and me who just had to take a photo!
My Aunt Lynn, my cousin Carrie and her son Alex had joined us for this little adventure so I snapped one I love of Alex. 🙂 He apparently looks more like Carrie than his Dad — and not having met his Dad yet, I’d agree! What I remember of Carrie from “way back when” he’s her! 😉
