As we departed from Grandma & Grandpa’s Emily realized that Zebra hadn’t made it into the van. After a frantic search for little zebra — by four adults throughout the house, no zebra appeared.
We managed to convince Em that Grandma and Grandpa would keep looking for zebra and he’d come home later. That appeased her “enough.”
Well … as it turns out, Zebra camped out on the bench by the hot tub. Emi thought this was hilarious! She talked about Zebra’s adventure as if it were the perfect excuse for not coming home on time.
She’s looking forward to his trip in the post office van and being delivered in an envelope. 🙂
