I hired my assistant

Strangely, she was not my first choice. She WAS though, my second. My first however, has an extremely limited schedule, essentially with the ability to work Fridays. 🙁 Ugh. My second choice reminds me a LOT of me when I was 16 … a bit nerdy, lots of desire and ambition, though a bit reserved. Yes, even *I* was a bit reserved. She’s part of a neat program to help girls build up self-esteem and do public speaking — called Job’s Daughters. She did a great job in her interview and while she has NO work experience, the stuff I need is totally trainable. Photography is a hobby for her though she’s thinking of going into … *eeek* Civil, Industrial or Biomedical Engineering. I’ll have her talk with Amber and I’ll bet she’ll skip out on the Civil. 😉 (Just kidding Amber!!)

So anyway, here goes nothing! 🙂 Let the fun begin!
