I really like our “food rule” when we are vacationing. We try some very neat places this way. Tonight, we chose Mama Mia’s in “downtown” Carolina Beach. It was, as it probably obvious, Italian. The portions were way too big and Emi slept through the first 1/2 of waiting, salad and bread eating.
I had baked manicotti. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Joseph had spaghetti and meatballs, but didn’t “want” spaghetti, so he only ate the meatballs. 🙄
The girls had spaghetti and meatballs too, but since I didn’t know the portions were so big, it was pointless to get them there own.
Ron had lasagna.
It was all yummy, BUT … as we noted while eating, Roman Village in Dearborn, MI still tops them all. 😀 Ron and I are going to fly up there just for dinner one night. 😉
