In a strict sense of black & white, that’s true. But E&A learned it’s not always true.
Generally, at a stop light, the girls will “announce” when it’s red that we must stop and “announce” when it’s green that we should go. 😀
One day, while driving with Ron, he stopped at a stoplight. He had a “yield on green” left turn to make, but of course the light was green, so E&A were yelling at him that “green means go!”. 😉
Then, another time, he was at a red light and turning right, which, of course we all know means you can go if it’s safe to do so. But the girls were yelling at him that “red means stop!”. 😉
Poor girlies!!
