Tracks 2 & 4 headed out at 7:30am today for Old Salem. They returned around 4:30pm. It was apparently a “not so fun day” when Daddy asked about it, but a “fun day!” when mommy asked about it. 😀 They watched Over the Hedge on the way and Jungle to Jungle on the way back. Joseph said the bus was too loud and the bus driver wouldn’t turn up the volume, so he couldn’t hear. Oh well. 😉
He brought back ginger cookies just like we asked, too! One big, long, red tin of them. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm yum!
Ron says it was exciting for him too the first time he went, but after the 4th or 5th trip to Old Salem it just wasn’t. I don’t think they go in the 5th grade … they go somewhere else. I guess when you are in Winston, Old Salem is a convenient trip. 😉
Joseph wanted to buy a musket but the school wouldn’t allow it, so he had to leave it. His next step is to go back to Old Salem when we visit G&G! We’ll just see about that! 😉
