I won the battle of the Yellow Pages ad!

In January, our local Yellow Pages rep came to “visit”. 😆 In any case, I decided it would be good to have an ad in the Cary-Apex yellow pages — my local market. I kept it *very* small, just $38/month. While they were here, I specifically noted that the address was wrong and they said “don’t worry, that’s associated with the phone number. We’ll correct it in the yellow pages”. Ok.

The next day I got the agreement … again, the address was wrong — in the contract. It also had Ron as the point person. I emailed and called … “don’t worry, it will be correct”.

I signed the agreement.

In February, I did a yellow pages search and up pops Pure Expressions with the WRONG address! So I emailed and called AGAIN … “Don’t worry, it will be correct in the book and we can fix the Internet site.”

About 3 weeks ago I got my yellow pages book …

THE ADDRESS WAS WRONG!

So I sent a furious email to my rep … “Sorry, you signed the agreement and we sent the confirmation package to you.”

Oh no you don’t!

Pull out my old emails and records of voice mails and meeting and sent them to customer service.

Today’s email says …

“Based on our investigation of your claim, we have decided to give you a 100% adjustment for the cost of your ad. I have notified our Internet dept to correct your address on line & noted your account so the address will be corrected for next year. I appreciate your patience in getting this matter solved.”

Ha! Justice!

Oh … and that packet they sent? I never got it. Why? ‘Cuz the address they have published and I have repeatedly told them to change does NOT exist! 🙂
