A ROUGH night

Boy was that a rough night. I was up just about every 1/2 hour with either Abby or Emi or Joseph! I finally got Emi to take some Tylenol that I’d wanted to give to Abby. Em’s rash was still there at 5:30am, but not by lunch time, thank goodness. Abby hasn’t had the “Yuckies” at all today, so that’s progress too.

Joseph caught this thing too and did nothing but complain every 20 minutes. He couldn’t breathe through his nose. Couldn’t stand breathing through his mouth, had a major sinus headache and wouldn’t listen to me about sitting UPRIGHT.

I finally convinced Joseph to try the husband … didn’t help. After about the 10th suggestion to SIT UP I said, in a frustrated voice, “just squish yourself into your bean bag and go to sleep”.

Soon, Abby woke up …. again … and I went to check on her and while up … for the hundredth time … I peeked in on Joseph and he was sitting up, all squished into his bean bag … fast asleep. 😀 He’d taken his radio over, his blanket and pillow, curled up and clearly got comfy.

See!?!?! I DO know what I’m talking about!

He eventually did get back up and climb into bed and stayed asleep. The girls conked out for good somewhere around 4:30am…. and woke up before I did. Ugh!

The life of a parent, right?
