Saturday was the start of the annual Professional Photographer’s of NC conference. This is the 2nd time I’ve gone and I was REALLY looking forward to it. Part of the conference is a print competition. Last year my highest score was a 78 and it was of the photo of the girls.
The conference is 5 days long with 1/2 day and day long sessions from photographers around the country. PPofNC is an affiliate of PPA (Professional Photographers of America) of which I am a member too. The whole purpose of the conference is education. Of course there was a side effect of fun and information overload. ๐ Lots of great ideas flowing too. I found the first year amazing and am expecting this one to be too.
I submitted 6 prints to the competition this year (same as last year) and planned to be at the conference all day Saturday … until … well … read my next post.
I have tons of notes from today’s session with Hanson Fong and John Woodward, but I won’t add those here. I’m sure it would bore you to death!
