Not too early, but early enough … Joseph was up first around the same time as Grandma and Grandpa, then the girls. Then me, then Steph, then Ron, then Shawn. ๐ Being downstairs was kinda fun while I listened to Joseph’s emotion in finding the Nerf Longshot. ๐ Such sweet happiness.
Then, hearing the girls find their “roller kates” … and helping them put them on, along with helmets and “skate” around a bit. Once they hit the smooth surface floor, that was the end of that! It required quite a bit of help, which was fine, of course!
We hit presents before and after breakfast, finishing in a record 3 or 4 hours this time around… I don’t really remember how long it took, but last year it was ALL DAY! ๐ I have to laugh.
Breakfast was delicious, of course. Lunch was leftovers, of course. And dinner was just as yummy as can be, of course. ๐ Anything I don’t have to make is good, but when my mom and dad cook, it’s deeeeeeeeeeeeelicious (as Emi would say!).
We concluded our fun Christmas Day with a traditional round of Tripoloy. Shawn was the big winner this year! ๐
What a good day!
