We ripped up the carpet in the studio tonight to get “started” on the work effort … boy that was a mistake. The carpet was *glued* to particle board! Wow! And, the particle board is warping because it’s just not a good sub-carpet-flooring material. Once wet, it bubbles and bubble it did.
By the window, there is actual mold, probably from a leak, but my landlord doesn’t think anything is wrong, there “can’t be a problem” so he’s not going to do anything about it. This one is up to Ron and I. Geez.
Honestly, I don’t really mind. I will do what needs to be done and in the end, rip it all out and make it “ugly” again. 😉 In reality though, my plan is to buy the darn building and be done with it. Just gotta get his business going strong! 😀
