Ron put Joseph to work this time. I don’t think I’ve ever heard funnier words come out of Joseph’s mouth, but here are a few things I’ve heard in the last TWO days about his “work”.
“Dad, I don’t work 24-7, just 5-7”. 😆 This was in reference to doing additional stuff for the girls after “normal school hours”.
Apparently, he’s been keeping them company, watching tv with them and making their lunch. Yesterday was Mac & Cheese. Abby scarfed it down and Emi pushed it away. Go figure.
And yes, Joseph’s getting paid. Apparently he didn’t work out the details prior to agreeing to babysit, so he’s arbitrarily come up with some $/hr figure and sat at the table calculating how much he’s going to make during track-out for this work. To which, Ron says to me “I never told him how much, so I have no idea where he’s coming up with these numbers”. 😉 Poor kid. Deal first, then agree! Have I taught him nothing? 😉 Apparently! 😀
