No one knows what’s wrong with the cat. He is currently laying on the floor, on his right side, stretched out with a plate of refried bean smelling cat food loaded with a steroid next to him. He won’t eat a bite. There is no way I’m going to get the pill form into this cat. 🙁
x-rays showed nothing but his back and hips are sensitive … or they were finally this afternoon, despite repeated manipulation this morning by the first vet with no negative response.
Blood work had a .1 elevated white blood cell count — where 19.5 is normal and his was 19.6. Could be a function of “him” being on the high end. Could be something else.
He’s got a special high-cal food that “all kitties like” (ha ha ha) that he won’t touch.
No one has any idea why or what’s happened, but Boo is just not Boo. 🙁
