I know it’s not really hard, but in a classroom full of students, I feel I should be able to get it. I am constantly have to stop and mentally process what time 4:30 is (1630) and remember the fact that there is no conversion with 11:30am — it’s 1130. It’s sooo stupid to be difficult, but it is!! I’m not used to it, so I am always having to calculate it. I think I have become funny to the students though. 😉
Hi Aimee! I have a tip for you for the military time remembering. I use to work for a steamship company and it was all nothing but military time. So a quick rememberance is to add 2 to the time. so if it’s 6 o’clock pm, it’ll be 1800, like 6, 7 8 (18.) 7 o’clock pm is 7, 8 1900. i have to do it still working for an alarm company, i am dispatching fire dept and police department all day long and they go by that time too. hope that helps. :0)
