Joseph’s class had a “special treat” for today’s last day of the 3rd quarter (and last day before track-out!). The brother of the father of one of the kid’s in Joseph’s class is race car driver headed to the pros. He came to the school WITH his race car! It was a really great event and I was there to commemorate the day with photographs! I was also there to take photos of the kids for their magazine that they will be doing in the 4th quarter… and for a special thing I will be doing for the teachers at the end of the year (that was the original motivation!). In any case, it was a LOT of fun!
Oh… and Joseph didn’t even want to come home early from school once it was all over! That was a first! 😀
