I’m going to be on NBC17 news!!!

If you are in the NBC17 viewing area, set your VCRs to record and your TIVOs or DVRs to capture NBC17 for the next 3-4 days. Today, I had a 1.5 hour “interview” with NBC17 regarding Save My Kid’s Art. Joseph even got in on the action and was interviewed for about 10 minutes (he did really really well! clapping The camera man said most kids freeze, but he talked the guy’s ear off).

The interview portion really only lasted about 30 minutes, setup and shot angles and watching me “at work” the rest.

I got to “plug” my photography business, but Save My Kid’s Art was the reason they called. I was asked questions which allowed me to talk about my love of photography and the history behind why I started both my business and this program.

Unfortunately, Kim Genardo, the anchor and person who contacted me was sick, but her camera man came and did the entire thing in her place. He’ll work with her separately to “fill in” both the visual and audio. I’m bummed I didn’t get to meet her, but it’s still way cool to have been interviewed.

If I find out when it will air, for sure, I’ll update, otherwise the expectation is that it’ll air January 25th (Wednesday). This is just sooo cool! I don’t know if they pod-cast or not, but if they do, maybe it’ll be on their website.

Woohoo!!
