Joseph should be too. I can’t believe this. Ron and I were just saying how Joseph never seems to get in trouble but all his friends do. That back-fired.
Tonight, Ron had to go to church for a meeting. In typical Joseph fashion, he left the moment we got home from church. He keeps his walkie-talkie with him so we can communicate. However, lately, he’s been slack with it and not been taking it with him.
So, today, apparently, he did the same. It was 7:00 pm… he wasn’t home. I called two of his friends… both said they thought he’d gone home. Ugh! So, I threw warm clothes on, packed up the girls and headed down the street… Joseph is coming up on his bike. I was FURIOUS!
No radio, no “popping-in” every once in a while… not at his primary friends and no notification as to where he’d gone. Apparently, he “lost track of time” and “didn’t know it was dark out” because he was in the basement of his friend’s Josh’s house playing and rollerblading. Of all things.
Anyway… he’s grounded from all friend for 2 days and then restricted to our yard for 3 more days.
