Ron and I have always been proud of the fact that we can tell our girls apart. But in the last month, we’re getting them mixed up MORE AND MORE! I thought it was supposed to get easier, not harder to tell! Eek!
The problem is two-fold — 1) we ALWAYS dress them in the same clothing. And no we’re not going to change that and 2) they are constantly playing the switcheroo on us!
For example, I’ll be sitting on the couch “dealing” with one of them. That one gets down, comes back just seconds later, I address “her” and it turns out it was the other one! duh laughing Or, like tonight. Emi was “dancing” on a box, Abby was at the toy bin. I looked over at them giggling, look back at them giggling again 10 seconds later and they’ve switched places… but are in the EXACT place that the other was! D’oh
Oh, are we pathetic! Ron and I both have been commenting how often we are getting it WRONG these days!
I’m going crazy! They look “the same”; they often act “the same”; but we know they are NOT the same. Oh the pathetic things to complain about. 😉
